WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT FAST DIETS
Fast diets are not for everyone and for them to have maximum effectiveness, you should always incorporate exercise along with your eating plan. Make sure you eat fresh fruits and vegetables and try to get protein through things like egg whites and fish rather than red meat, chicken, or pork, which are fatty and harder for the body to process.
A great fast diet plan would include an egg white omelette for breakfast, a salad with perhaps a chicken breast for lunch, and a piece of tuna or salmon for dinner. You can also incorporate yoghurt and fruit into your diet, but as these are both high in sugars and carbohydrates, use them sparingly.
Once you are eating the right foods, the best way to increase weight loss is by exercise. Yes, that dreaded word exercise. To be honest, I hate any form of exercise, I have to force myself. However, once you get into a routine its not so bad. Here are some tips to take exercise without having to run or use the gym.
- When driving somewhere park the car a reasonable distance from your final destination and walk the rest of the way.
- If you are taking a bus, get off a stop early and walk the rest of the way
- In a building with a lift, use the stairs, if there are too many stairs, walk up 3 or 4 flights of stairs then use the elevator.
- Did you know swimming is an excellent form of exercise, it doesn’t stress your joints, and you use just about every muscle?
You will be surprised how much difference these small changes will make to your fast weight loss plan
In addition to the foods you eat, portion control is absolutely vital to any successful fast diet. The first few days you may feel hungry from eating less food than usual. Just remember that within a few days, your appetite will shrink – hopefully along with your figure! A good portion size rule is that anything you eat should only be the size of what can fit in your hand.
FAST DIETS CAN WORK FOR YOU!
By applying a healthy diet and plenty of exercises (usually about an hour’s work per day at a fat-burning or cardio-health heart rate). You will start to see the pounds melt away quickly. Remember that you should work to a fixed goal, and always take care of yourself.
